Billikens Take on NIU Huskies
 
 
 
 
The Billikens will take on NIU this weekend in a two game series. Game One is this Friday at 7:30. Game Two is Saturday at 4:00. The Billikens need a strong showing as they make a push towards MACHA Playoffs!
 
This Friday Kappa Delta will be running a special ticket price for support of their philanthropy. Buying a $7 ticket will get you: A FREE bus ride from Humphrey's, admission to the game, one FREE hotdog, and one FREE soda at Webster Groves Ice Rink. Also, the Billikens Hockey team will be handing out BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE ticket vouchers for this Friday's game.
 
A FREE BUS FROM HUMPHREY'S will also be avaliable for all students! Bus leaves at 6:30, however, multiple bus trips may be needed so arrive early!

Mission Statement Billikens Hockey

 To offer high caliber hockey players at Saint Louis University the opportunity to play collegiate hockey while getting a great education.

 

SUCCESS

The Billikens hockey team has been a member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association for 15 years. The team has been successful at both the Division II and Division I level, having been to three national tournaments.

EXPERIENCE

The Billikens Hockey Club is a professionally run organization in good standing with the ACHA for 15 seasons. The team practices 2-3 times per week on weeknights/afternoons and plays a 30-35 game schedule per year. Players travel as a team on a charter bus and stay in hotels with 3-4 players per room.

LEAGUE

The SLU Hockey Club participates in the MACHA Gold league at the Division II ACHA level.

GAME SCHEDULE

The schedule is geared as much as possible around the student’s academic
 calendar. The team plays a 30-35 game schedule against Division I, Division II, and Division III opponents. The Billikens travel 6-7 times per year on a charter bus with wi-fi.
 
PLAYERS

SLU actively recruits players from the Junior A & B level, AAA, AA/Central States and elite High School players. The team hosts a tryout to anyone interested in playing the weekend before school starts in August.
